The Procurement Center of Excellence is the premier venue that fosters growth for women-owned small businesses, by assisting them to scale and navigate public, and private sector supply chain opportunities. Through multiple executive education programs like, Procurement Readiness and Capital Readiness that provide leadership skills, Government contracting training, industry focused development and peer-to-peer forums, women-owned businesses will be poised for sustainable business success.
Women-Owned Business Procurement Readiness Executive Program
There is no secret that proper preparation, aids in stellar performance. This Executive Program will provide women-owned businesses the tools and resources they need to not only compete in the marketplace but to also deliver on their contract awards successfully. With topics ranging from cyber and financial requirements to compliance reporting, and developing a leading team, this program will provide the foundation needed and required in both the public and private sectors.
Capital Readiness Program
We know access to capital is a barrier to both entry and growth. Once funding is received, it is imperative to understand how to best put the funds to work for the sustainability of the company. This program provides an understanding of the available financing, preparing the business case for the financing, and managing those finances once obtained.
Contracting Officer Training
WIPP has been at the forefront of the WOSB Federal Contracting Program. This program and curriculum will provide COs with the necessary training needed to appropriately integrate WOSBs into the government supply chain and assist with reaching the new 7% WOSB goal.
